A person wanting to get a student visa has to go through a few steps to get to where they want to go. You can either be already in the United States or in your home country. First they will have to get the F-1 Student Visa Application.
Then you must decide what school and state you would like to go to school in. After you decide what school you would like to attend, contact the school by applying. If you’re accepted, the school will give you an I-20 Form. This is the form that is required of an F-1 student. Now, you’re set to go to the United States Embassy and apply for a student visa.
